Private & Lifestyle Events

Curated DJ experiences for people who care about music

Not every great party happens in a club but the best ones still deserve proper DJing.

We deliver music-led DJ experiences for private and lifestyle events where atmosphere, flow, and taste matter. These are events for people who don’t want a generic playlist or a scripted DJ. they want music that feels considered, personal, and right for the room.

From milestone birthdays to weddings, intimate house parties to brand and hospitality events, every booking is curated with the same care and musical integrity as a club set.

One approach. Many types of celebration.

Every event is different but the process stays the same:

understand the people, read the room, and let the music do the work.

Below are the kinds of events we regularly work with.

Milestone celebrations (18 - 60+)

Great parties often bring multiple generations together and that’s where experience really shows.

We regularly DJ:

  • 18th, 21st & 30th birthdays

  • 40th, 50th & 60th celebrations

  • Anniversary parties

  • Weddings receptions

These events often include parents, friends, grown-up kids, old clubbing mates, and newer connections all in one space. The music needs to connect, not divide.

Our strength is creating musical journeys that bridge ages and tastes without losing flow or credibility. No awkward genre jumps. No novelty moments. Just great music, mixed properly, evolving naturally as the night unfolds.

Niche musical tastes & music-first clients

Some clients know exactly what they love and want a DJ who gets it.

We regularly work with hosts who lean towards:

  • Disco, funk & rare groove

  • Soul, Motown & Philly

  • House, garage & broken beat

  • Indie, Madchester & alternative

  • 80s / 90s culture-led selections

For these events, we often invite clients to share some examples and ideas of musical references not as a setlist, but as insight into their taste. This allows us to prepare music we know will land, while still responding to the room in real time.

The result feels personal, confident, and musically joined-up never forced or pre-programmed.

Eclectic & open-format scenarios

Some of the best events don’t fit neatly into one genre.

House parties, mixed-age birthdays, weddings, and brand events often call for an open-format approach but done with taste and flow, not chaos.

These sets might move between:

  • Soulful classics and modern grooves

  • Underground club sounds and crossover favourites

  • Familiar moments and deeper selections

The key is progression knowing when to build, when to ease back, and how to move between styles without breaking the energy of the room.

This is where real DJ experience matters most.

A collaborative, calm planning process

Every booking starts with a conversation.

We’ll talk through:

  • The space and the crowd

  • The kind of atmosphere you want

  • Any musical do’s and don’ts

From there, we prepare with intention — so when the night arrives, everything feels effortless.

On the night itself, we’re calm, professional, and unobtrusive — letting the music lead and the party unfold naturally.

Who you’re booking

All private and lifestyle events are personally curated and overseen by Chris Hunter (Kenny Jaeger).

In many cases, Chris will be the DJ on the night.  Where appropriate we may also book a trusted DJ from our close network always someone we know personally and who shares the same musical values, professionalism, and crowd-first approach. This would always be communicated and agreed in advance.

Either way, the experience remains the same.

Is this the right fit?

This is probably for you if:

  • Music genuinely matters to you

  • You want atmosphere, not announcements

  • You value flow over gimmicks

  • You want a DJ who can read the room

If that sounds right, let’s talk.
